I picked the Devil May Cry series and decided to set it in a sort of asian-esque setting, playing off concepts of eastern aesthetic and horror, and stuff like that. Here's one of the environment paintings I did for the class - an entrance to a cult hideout in a forest. I also included some thumbnail explorations; I'll update more environments as I finish them up based of crits from class.

Devil May Cry Viscom Project
For a class this term, we had to take a video game franchise and come up with concepts for a cinematic to sell the imaginary-next-game in the series. The task was to take the franchise in a direction that it hadn't gone before, while still retaining the feel of the series.
